Phishing messages are a common method used to try to obtain users’ login credentials or other personal information. Kvarn X will never ask for your password, verification codes, or banking details via email, SMS, or phone.
Things to watch out for in suspicious messages or contact attempts:
Never give remote access to your computer or smart device to unknown parties.
If you have already made investments and are asked to pay additional fees (e.g. “security deposits” or “unlocking fees”) to release funds, do not proceed. Legitimate investing never requires these types of payments.
The message promises quick profits, recovery of previously lost funds, or other benefits.
The sender’s email address looks suspicious (e.g. “[email protected]”). See section Security Notice for Kvarn X’s official email address.
The message contains spelling mistakes or creates a sense of urgency.
The message includes a link to a site that mimics the Kvarn X login page but does not have the correct URL. Refer to section 7.1 for our official web addresses.
If you suspect a phishing attempt:
Do not click any links or open attachments.
Do not respond or provide any personal information.
Delete the message or mark it as spam.
If you are unsure or have any concerns, please contact our Customer Support team. We are happy to help. Support is available on weekdays from 9:00 to 16:00, and we respond to messages within 24 hours.
