In Kvarn X, you can manually update the acquisition cost of crypto-assets if you have transferred assets from an external wallet or another service. The correct acquisition cost ensures that portfolio performance, tax reporting and capital gain/loss calculations remain up to date.
How to update the acquisition cost (web application only):
The ability to update the acquisition cost will also be added to the mobile application soon!
Go to the Kvarn X web application (Kvarn X website > Log in)
Sign in to the service and go to Transactions in the menu
Select the crypto deposit ("Transfer in") you made
Select Edit and add the acquisition cost to the transaction.
The acquisition cost is updated immediately in the My portfolio view. The information will be reflected in your reports within the next 24 hours.
