Registration and Strong Authentication

To use the Kvarn X service, you need to create an account and complete strong authentication. Accounts can be opened by both private individuals and corporate clients as follows:

How to Open an Account

  1. Go to www.kvarnx.com and select Create Account.

  2. Choose either Private Individual or Corporate Client and identify yourself using your online banking credentials.

  3. Fill in the registration form, enter your personal bank account (for withdrawals), and accept the terms of use.

Confirmation:

  • Private individuals: You will receive a confirmation email, and your account will be activated immediately.

  • Corporate clients: You will receive confirmation by email once the account has been reviewed and approved.

Then log in, deposit funds, and start trading.

Mandatory Attachments for Corporate Accounts

⚠️ Please ensure the following documents are attached during registration. Without them, we cannot open the account.

Required documents:

  • Extract from the Trade Register (no older than 3 months)

  • Articles of Association (or association bylaws)

  • Description of ownership structure

  • Power of attorney or other document proving signing authority (e.g. board minutes)

You can obtain these documents directly from the Virre Service provided by the Finnish Patent and Registration Office.

Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

During registration, we collect information required by law:

For private individuals:

  • Nationality

  • Tax residence

  • Source of funds

For corporate clients:

  • Basic company information

  • Ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs)

This is part of the regulation to prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism.

Tip: Secure Login

After your first login, we recommend enabling:

  • Passkey authentication

  • Biometric login (e.g., fingerprint or facial recognition)

These methods make logging in both safer and more convenient.
