Limit order

buy, sell, order, limit price, limit

A limit order is executed only if the market price reaches the price limit you have specified. This order type is suitable when you want to buy or sell an investment instrument only at a certain price or better. A limit order allows you to manage price risk more precisely than a market order.

⚠️ A limit order may not be executed if the market price does not reach the price level you have set while the order is valid.

Tip: If a market order is not executed, for example due to high price volatility or low liquidity (which is more common with smaller or less frequently traded investment instruments), we recommend using the limit order described here. It allows you to ensure that the trade is executed only at your chosen price or a better price.
